This lot comes from us from the Duwancho washing station in Sidama.
The coffee is soaked for two hours here before being placed on raised beds. The additional soak promotes sweetness and during the 30 day drying phase, the cherry bed is as thin as possible to maintain quality. This is the best Sidamo we have cupped in a long time.
- Grading: Very high specialty (near 90 points)
- Notes: Burnt sugar, cooked nectarine and blueberry into mild milk chocolate
- Body: silky, fruity sweets.
- Acidity: Moderate and juicy
- Roast: black/filter/espresso
