The Acaia Ion Beam solves the problem of static generated during the grinding process. Designed to work mounted on an Acaia Orbit Grinder or as a portable accessory for different grinders. The Ion Beam features an industrial-grade ion generator and is designed to significantly reduce static electricity produced during the coffee grinding process. This results in less retention, fewer flying chaff, and minimal clumping. The device achieves this by emitting a steady stream of charged ions, effectively neutralizing static charge accumulation encountered during grinding. Additionally, the Ion Beam is now enhanced with an infrared (IR) sensor for motion detection, so placing a container near it activates the ionizer. This ensures a smoother, more efficient grinding experience.

The Acaia Orbit Multi-Purpose Hopper serves as both a single-dose hopper for the Orbit coffee grinder, and an adapter for larger Acaia hoppers. The hopper includes a tight-fitting lid which has been designed to reduce noise and prevent dust and foreign matter from entering the hopper during the grinding process. The Multi-Purpose Hopper offers a range of capacity options, from 250g to 2kg, and it is constructed from anodized aluminium. It’s flexible sizing range makes it a great option for both batch grinding and precise grind-by-weight applications.
