The BIT (Barista Improving Taste) environment is a collaboration between Sauro Dall’Aglio in partnership with IMS and is designed to improve flow, reduct the incidence of channelling and enhance the flavour of your coffee. It is an upgrade to your tamper, shower and filter baskets.

BIT tamper

The BIT Coffee Tamper is engineered to deliver more consistent, balanced extractions. It employs tapered side walls and rounded base corners to mirror the shape of the filter basket resulting in even pressuure across the entire coffee puck. This design slows extraction, reduces channelling, and enhances flavour clarity—promoting a rich, clean and complex cup.
