The genuine Olympia Express OEM bottomless (naked) portafilter for the Cremina, supplied with the same Swiss precision that defines the machine itself. Fitting the Cremina's 49mm group, this portafilter removes the spout entirely so every extraction is exposed — channelling, uneven distribution and poor tamping become immediately visible, making it an indispensable diagnostic and training tool for anyone serious about lever espresso.
We use this portafilter exclusively on our own Cremina in-store. The open basket view is particularly rewarding on a lever machine: watching a slow, even pour develop across the full width of the basket from the first drops through the full extraction is one of the pleasures of owning a Cremina. Once you've pulled a few shots with it, going back to a spouted portafilter feels like flying blind.
Compatibility: Olympia Express Cremina (all generations). Not compatible with the Maximatic or Mina — those machines use 54mm and 49.5mm groups respectively.
