Roast Intensity Scale
Talk Coffee uses a roast intensity scale to help you choose a coffee that matches your taste. Here's how the levels compare:
- Light (1–3): Bright acidity, floral and fruit-forward. Highlights the bean's origin character.
- Medium (4–6): Balanced sweetness and acidity. Good for espresso and filter. Most versatile range.
- Medium-dark (7–8): Lower acidity, more body, chocolate and caramel notes. Popular for milk-based drinks.
- Dark (9–10): Full body, bold and robust. Minimal acidity. Strong espresso character.
